Welcome to the website of the French School Lycée Jules Verne!
The Lycée Jules Verne is a French school registered with the French Agency for French Teaching Abroad (AEFE). It was created in 1992 and currently educates more than 1100 students from over 50 nationalities from nursery school through to 12th grade (terminale).
The school consists of two campuses: the Johannesburg campus hosts students from the nursery year (petite section, grade 000) through to 12th grade and the Pretoria campus hosts students from the nursery year through to 5th grade (CM2).
Our teaching is in line with the French curriculum. In this framework, the Lycée Jules Verne promotes the values of the French educational system.
Decidedly international-oriented, our goal is to prepare students to embrace the international challenges of the future which correspond to the following points of the School Project:
- academic excellence,
- sport and art,
- sustainable development,
- educational partnerships,
- and engaging with the host country.
Feel free to contact us for further information.
